3 Reasons League Of Legends Is Addictive

League Of Legends Is Addictive…

The moment you feel a rush of anger or rage from being defeated in-game and hurry to start another round, you can tell you’ve gotten sucked in by League of Legends. LoL is a very addictive game, with aspects that go beyond the normal nature of casually sitting down for a round. Why, you ask? Many games have crazy reasons that keep players logging in – some have great stories, amazing graphics, good battle systems, or great communities. However, I believe that there are 3 reasons why League Of Legends is addictive.

Reason ONE

The First Reason why League Of Legends is addictive is the great competitive nature. The sense of accomplishment when you win a game against other players is gratifying. It is a great feeling when you STOMP your competition, and it makes you salty when you get owned. The feeling from both fills you up and drives you to play another. Even the plays made in an individual game will give you the need to play another.

Reason TWO

This one is a bit easier to grasp because it is more of a physical presence in the sense that it can be seen. The second reason League of Legends is addictive is because there is so much variety, and at low cost. Nothing screams “YEA!” like a free to play game that has a large variety. When you start playing League of legends (if you haven’t here is a link to download and start playing NOW! on the NA server) it takes a while to get to max level 30. However, you learn basics of the game and gain a lot of IP which is used to buy champions and runes. Here are the variety of things in League of Legends that keeps you addicted.

  • Champion pool: As of right now there are over 100 champions and more are added every few weeks. The fresh champions bring new dynamics to the game every time they are added. You can purchase a bundle of champions for a very small amount if you want to.
  • Champion Skins: New skins seem to be added every week. Some of the skins even affect the abilities that the champions use, giving champions multiple looks.

  • Every Game Is Different: Each game is played by you and 4 others vs 5 players or bots. At the start of each game, all players choose champions from there owned champion pool. This means that each game people will choose different champions. There are also multiple maps and game modes to play to keep it fresh for the casual gamer. But we all know there is no such thing as a casual league of legends gamer!

Reason THREE

There is so much to watch!!! There are Thousands of YouTubers and Twitch streamers who record themselves playing this game. Its fun to watch others play because its exciting, and for those who are not very good, they can learn just by watching. There is an ESPORTS League of Legends and now they started ULoL witch is a University league. Some schools will even give scholarships to play for them, if you are good enough . This is one of the best things about competitive games. You can watch hours of games online while you work or do other things. Even I record some of my games. This one below is a game about 3 days after coming back to my addiction from a year or so not playing.

I think These 3 reasons League of Legends is addictive are the main contributors. There are always more things that help add to it such as the awesome lore of the champions, or the graphics, and even some things as simple as the general fandom of League of Legends. Leave a comment with some of your reasons you are addicted to this game! We can work through this drug together…(like through Duo Que! haha)

  2. Hey! I understand this is kind of off-topic but I needed to ask.
Does managing a well-established website like yours take
a large amount of work? I am completely new to operating a blog however
I do write in my diary everyday. I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my experience and views online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers.

    Appreciate it!

I am finally starting this after I figured out a target of what I want to do. Once you figure out how you want to work your blog just write every day. I have written about a hundred posts just to practice and now I will be starting to post at least 3-5 times a week. Just find the specific way you want to post and do it. This for me is to help me achieve more viewers on my stream and my Youtube. Good luck and sorry it took me a while to reply because I was learning how to use WordPress and practice writing among other things.

  3. It’s great that you are getting thoughts from this post as well as from our dialogue made at this place.
